Defence and Security is a new division under Muhibbah Engineering Group that offers an array of marine, defence and security services. Products and services line-up as below:
- Specialized in designing and manufacturing of advance composite craft.
- Mobile Offshore Base (MOB), a total mobile solution for greater sea control.
- Total Integrated Security solutions using open-architecture principles which allows easy expansion and integration with new technologies for superior protection.
- Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV), its autonomous platform capable of supporting multi mission such as mine warfare, SAR (search and rescue), ISR operation (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) and fire-fighting. Modular platform that provides two mode of operation; manually with crews on board or fully autonomous function.
Fast Interceptor Craft
CJ66 Fast Interceptor Craft is a rigid hull inflatable boat specially built to carry out Special Forces operations, high speed pursuits, search and rescue, and marine interdiction operations.
- All-rounder extreme weather craft that boasts high speed, superb manoeuvrability and high buoyancy.
- Characteristics as a keeper of the sea, coupled with its unmatched capability to suppress and intercept unknown or known threats.
- Proficiently designed with premium composite deep V hull.
- Capable of gliding through water at exceptional high speed without compromising both power and control for swift manoeuvres.
- Powered with 3 outboards of 350 horsepower engines and has a proven speed of more than 60 knots.
- Designed with flexibility as custom made available according to end users requirement.
- Customizations and Options; Seating arrangement, shock mitigation seats, helm console position, long range thermal imager camera, weapon integration mounts, ballistic protection and cabin configurations.
Mobile Offshore Base (MOB)
A state-of-the-art innovation of transforming energy offshore technology into military application providing extended range of operation and coverage for surveillance. Missions of MOB as below:
- Acts as an effective deterrence.
- Provides effective and real time C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance), increasing Situational Awareness capability to Security Forces.
- Provides better respond and reaction time to counter any unwanted elements.
- Can be mobilized into high security threat area or other areas for other tasks such as to assist disaster relief or SAR (Search & Rescue).
- Supports Maritime Operations, Patrol and Law Enforcement and Forward Logistics Operations.
Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)
Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) of government and commercial vessels, servicing and supplying of spares of ship’s gearbox and propulsion arrangements.
