Muhibbah Engineering (M) Bhd (Muhibbah) was incorporated in Malaysia on 4 September 1972 and has been listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Main Market”) since 1994.
Muhibbah Group since its inception has established a track record of international engineering
construction company playing an integral role as integrated solutions provider in related fields such
as offshore and onshore platforms, marine facilities, dams, ports, bridges, jetties, petrochemical
facilities, steel fabricated structure, highways, industrial infrastructure construction, crane
manufacturing, shipbuilding, ship repair and airport construction, airport operations and air
development both domestic and global markets.
The company was the first company in Malaysia to achieve ISO 9002 certification in 1995 in the
construction sector, placing strong emphasis on quality and safety in every aspect of operations.
Our associated company Favelle Favco Group manufacture cranes for oil & gas industry as well as the construction industry, providing offshore and onshore cranes.
Muhibbah has a wholly-owned shipyard and fabrication yard in Teluk Gong, Port Klang.
CiTECH Energy Recovery Systems Malaysia Sdn Bhd another member of the Group is an acknowledged leading supplier of Waste Heat Recovery Units (WHRU’s). The CiBAS WHRU has been developed specifically for the offshore oil and gas industry as an all-in-one package with built in silencer and bypass sleeve for flow isolation and control. When compared to other types of WHRU, the CiBAS range offers a 30% to 50% reduction in overall weight and space envelope. The unique and patented design of CiBAS alleviates the need for a separate silencer, isolation and control dampers together with operational and bypass stacks.

Ventured into Australia
Ventured into Germany
1995
Muhibbah achieved the ISO 9002:1994 certification in construction sector in Malaysia for civil, marine, building & steel construction categories.
Ventured into crane manufacturing with the acquisition of Favelle Favco Cranes
(Australia)

Acquisition of Kroll Cranes (Denmark)
Ventured into overseas market in Thailand
2001
Privatization of Federal road maintenance in central region from Government of Malaysia [ 21% equity stake in Roadcare (M) Sdn Bhd ]

Muhibbah receives International Achievement Award from Malaysian CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) for recognition of Muhibbah's involvement in overseas projects

Crane division – Favelle Favco Berhad successfully listed on the Second Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE)
